Well 3 games in to the NBA season and no surprise, Los
Angeles has a team that could play in the NBA Finals.

Yes, you read that right…
Following an 0-2 start, Lakers guard, Kobe Bryant, said concerned fans needed to “shut up; let us work.” Even hinting they were dumb. Losing at home to the Mavericks on opening night and in Portland the following evening didn’t worry the 5-time champion.
But losing the “Battle of the Building” to the now 2-0 Clippers, 105-95, on Friday had Kobe singing a different tune…..and it wasn’t Gangnam Style.
“It’s time to panic right now,” Bryant said afterward. Making it worse…the Clippers have four former Lakers on their squad. (Lamar Odom, Caron Butler, Matt Barnes and Ronny Turiaf)
At 0-3, the Lakers are in last place, have not led in a
second half and have equaled their worst start since 1978 and are on pace to
lose every game….0-82.

Never mind an 0-8 preseason…
There are already loud cries from Lakers fans for Head Coach, Mike Brown (LeBron’s old valet) to be fired. Steve Nash shipped back to Canada to repair his broken leg (free healthcare)…and Dwight Howard traded again.
While those that aren’t fans of the purple and gold seem to think everything is A okay…”wait till April…”
Truthfully it’s some place in the middle.
In LA… if the 405 is closed…PANIC…Starbucks stops making mocha frappe whatever…WORRY…Plastic surgeon runs out of Botox…MAYHEM.

But the 2012-13 Lakers…no need to fear yet.
Here’s why.
Steve Blake has been terrific the first three games….his flopping seems to be in mid-season form.
Pau Gasol is STILL tall.

Dwight Howard looks like a pair of former Lakers championship centers! Shaq at the free throw line & Andrew Bynum with the cheap fouls!
Antawn Jamison still hasn’t realize the W is supposed to go before the second A in his first name..
Power Forward Jordan Hill hasn’t assaulted anyone THIS season..
Mike Brown doesn’t need a special chair to watch games and he’s not “dating” the owner’s daughter.
And Kobe….well he makes $27 million this season…so plenty of spare change for room service “allegedly”
